The « Normandie Sud » region is perfectly situated in the south of Normandy and very close to the Perche nature park, this delightful location gives you the opportunity to visit the great historical sites such as Giverny, Versailles, Chartres, Paris, Rouen, Le Mont Saint Michel, as well as the Norman beaches…Access is easy: RN12 (Paris-Brest road), RN154 (Rouen-Orleans road), Railway lines Paris-Granville and Paris-Cherbourg, A13 and A28 motorways are easily accessed.

 

Here you will discover « typical Normandy » -Nature; valleys, protected areas, hikes, green lanes, GR22 Paris-le Mont Saint Michel, historical heritage including; castles, abbeys, mansions, and the vestiges of the duchy of Normandy, along with regional products, including local farm produce, chef specialties, cuisine workshops as well as the “Normandie de passionnés”- The wind instrument museum, Museum of France, furnished with an exceptional collection. Cluzel, a world leader in the manufacture of luxury chocolate. The Bois des Aigles a wildlife park dedicated to birds of prey…

 

Don’t miss a visit of the capital Verneuil-sur-Avre, known for the richness of its preserved heritage. This town is labeled as one of the most beautiful detours in France “Les plus beaux detours de France”, and has the most historical monuments registered or classified of all the towns in the department.
