le beauclerc verneuil sur avreA warm welcome awaits you in the elegantly simple and modern setting of Le Beauclerc Tea Room. Located in the centre of Verneuil-sur-Avre, the recently refurbished tea room bears the name of Henri Beauclerc, Duke of Normandy, (Henry I of England, son of William the Conqueror, supposedly born in Selby, Yorkshire), who founded the town in 1120.

Open Monday to Thursday from 7.30am to 7pm and Fridays and Saturdays from 7.30am to 10.30pm. Le Beauclerc is great for a quick snack: pancakes, ice cream, freshly-made cakes… served with the famous Michel Cluizel Chocolat Viennois, (hot chocolate with whipped cream), tea or coffee.

The Beauclerc is also a brasserie. The service of the brasserie is efficient, the meals are made with fresh local products and menus for every budget.

For families: high chair, baby changing table, activities for children (games, books, colouring …)
