retour Saint Pierre church

Eure, NormandyMandres’ church comprises of a nave and a transept from the XVI century and a choir of Romanesque origin at the rear, also with a semi-circular apse.

The nave and the transpet are illuminated by large triangular-arched windows. An inscription reminds us of a dedication in 1518.

A square flint tower with bricks butresses, topped up with a quadrangular roof, precedes the nave since the XVIII century.

Inside the bulding, various components of furniture are to be seen : a Saint Pierre statue, Saint Paul and Saint Eloi in wood dating back to the XVIII century, a Louis XIV style shrine and an altarpiece of the high altar of Rococo style.

Open everyday to the public from 9 am to 6 pm
